February Love Horoscope 2010

Oh, Oh It's Magic

February Love Horoscopes

February begins with Venus, the planet of love, in the quirky sign of Aquarius, where freedom and fresh experiences tend to take the sentimentality out of romance. This heady pattern starts to change on February 7 when Venus joins super-sensitive Neptune to soften hard hearts and rational minds.

On February 11, Venus moves into Neptune's imaginative home sign of Pisces to place feelings before facts and bring some of the magic and mystery back to romance. Traditional astrology calls Venus "exalted" in Pisces, meaning that the nature of this compassionate, imaginative and idealistic sign is beneficial for this alluring planet. The magic of love should come alive and allow old wounds to dissolve with forgiveness. However, the desire to fall in love can become so compelling that common sense and good judgment might go out the window. The tenderness and affection that Venus in Pisces offers can be so strong that it's easy to sense a significant connection with many people. However, there's a difference between the spiritual love this pair represents and the personal kind that makes individual relationships successful. Hope for the best, but temper optimism with enough realism to keep from sacrificing yourself for an illusion.

The tendency to overlook someone's limits is heightened when the Sun joins Neptune on February 14, and will linger for about a month when the Sun enters Pisces on February 18. Real kindness and meaningful relationships must include an honest assessment of your own needs. Giving away too much can help you catch someone, but you may not end up wanting to keep what you've gotten.
