The planets start turning a favorable direction for your professional life when aggressive Mars enters your well-organized and hardworking sign on December 7. This is a powerfully motivating transit that can mark the first step in a new professional journey. It's the first time in almost two years that Mars has been in Capricorn, which should give you the drive and passion to tackle tough challenges. It's best, though, if you have a plan or project of your own. If not, you may simply find yourself under enormous pressure to simply hold on to what you already have. That would be a waste of the enterprising power of Mars to spark fresh ideas and initiate new activities to advance your professional interests.

You want to be your own boss now and can react more strongly than usual to those in authority who you do not respect. A tendency to push back against them must be handled carefully to avoid conflict. A second wave of power comes with the Sun's entry into Capricorn on December 21.

Just before this happens, though, there's a Full Moon in jittery Gemini that falls in your 6th House of Work. This could provoke a small-scale crisis, perhaps due to miscommunication or spreading yourself too thin. If it's a more serious matter, that might be the trigger that leads you to seek employment elsewhere or even in another line of work. Just take your time thinking this over since impulsive decisions are less likely to lead
to success.
