The Sun in your 3rd House of Communications kicks up the amount of information flowing in your life until December 21. Normally, this could kick up some opportunities to learn, sell, teach and expose yourself to new situations. But it's possible now that what you hear from others and the ideas you hatch yourself might be hard to turn into reality. Don't stop thinking, talking and listening, but slow down and carefully consider any information as suspect until it's been proven to be true.

The reason for this advice is that the communication planet Mercury is turning retrograde this month. This backward motion from December 10 - 29 is a period when data is easily lost and messages muddled. The enthusiasm you may have, then, is best tempered to keep from making promises you can't keep or falling for someone else's overly optimistic story.

Your sociable ruling planet is also in scrutinizing Scorpio all month, reminding you to look below the surface to sense a person's real intentions. Your perceptions about the value of people, objects and relationships should be sharper as you're able to recognize resources where others can't see them. This gives you the ability to turn a loss into a gain as you recognize that letting go of a person or project makes room for something better. Being more difficult to please isn't necessarily going to make you more popular yet your ability to assess situations with less emotional attachment to others' feelings should serve you well
