Plan for the future

This is an excellent month to look back and review your professional progress and start to make plans for the future. Brainy Mercury is turning retrograde in your 9th House of Visions on December 10 and will continue moving backwards until December 30. While this is a period in which more errors and misunderstandings are common, it's also an ideal time to think about what you've accomplished and where you've fallen short during the part four months. It's vital, though, to know that you don't have to repeat the patterns that haven't worked for you. The point is not to get down on yourself or your situation but to recognize where and how constructive changes can be made.

Mercury re-enters your 8th House of Deep Sharing on December 18, providing opportunities to renegotiate your agreements with others. Untangling knots in professional relationships isn't easy but worth your investment of time and energy. If you're not pleased with a close colleague or business associate, discuss these issues as calmly as you can and perhaps you can get on a more productive path. This also marks the start of a four-week period when seeking investors or partners to help you with a new venture is appropriate. Just don't be in a hurry to finalize any agreements until Mercury begins moving forward again on
December 30.

The Sun's entry into ambitious Capricorn and your 9th house on December 21 is another reason to think about long-term career goals. Additional training or education might be a key to expanding your
professional horizons.
