There are two forward moving waves that can help you this month and one reversal cycle that might find you fighting to stay in control of your professional situation. Active Mars moves into your 5th House of Creativity on December 7, which puts more passion into all of your activities. You know how to be playful and original while maintaining a solid grip on reality. This is excellent for coming up with original plans or making powerful presentations that are both compelling and practical.

The expressive Sun's shift into the dynamic part of your chart on December 21 adds another dose of imagination and confidence that enables you to promote yourself and any products or projects in which you have an interest. The counterforce to all of this powerful energy is the shift into retrograde direction (reversal in the zodiac) of your astute ruling planet Mercury. This occurs on December 10 and will be in effect until December 29. Mercury retrograde is usually a time when any little things that can go awry will. Failures of equipment, difficulties during travel and communication errors are more common then. Make sure to apply your usual attention to minor matters to avoid the problems these can cause. Don't assume that others understand you or even got your message or email.

The upside of Mercury Retrograde is that it provides second chances to complete unfinished tasks and to reconnect with people. Reaching out to colleagues, customers or potential employers with whom you've had previous contacts can bring results that you didn't get the first time around.
