Ideas and opportunities that first appeared on June 8 and September 18 cycle around again, and although this alignment isn't exact until January 4, 2011, the anticipation mounts throughout the month.

Still, potent Pluto in controlling Capricorn and your 4th House of Domestic Conditions can strengthen your emotions and intensify struggles with family members -- especially when it's joined by communicator Mercury on December 5, by Mercury and Mars on December 13, and by the Sun on December 26. Mercury's retrograde period December 10 - 30 begins in your 4th house, exposing unexpressed tensions at home, and then backs into cavalier Sagittarius and your 3rd House of Information on December 18, tempting you to avoid difficult conversations in favor of more enjoyable activities.

Your overactive imagination puts you in a festive mood on December 18 when a spiritual Sun-Neptune sextile opens your mind wide. Aspects to wild and crazy Uranus, combined with Mercury's entry to farsighted Sagittarius, make it easy to transform gloom into glee. But if you get carried away by your exhilaration, the unstable Gemini Full Moon Eclipse on December 21 can throw you for a loop. This eclipse falls in your 9th House of Higher Truth and will let you know if you're misleading yourself about your direction in life. It's important to pare back your plans, for Mercury's square to unrestrained Jupiter may have you running around in circles without making any progress.
