As an addendum to my previous post and the reason for it, is probably because I have pluto conjunct my natal mercury in virgo.

I would agree that Gemini (Air Element) is a highly intelligent sign and I respect the rapidity of their thought processes. ( I have a great deal of gemini energy in my natal chart and moon in gemini by vedic astrology which I do not personally ascribe to.) Yet with that said as a Virgo, I have to say that Geminis would do well to channel this powerful mental energy by looking beneath the surface of things and going more deeply. Geminis with pluto energy in their natal charts probably already know this, but it never hurts to have a friendly reminder. :)

From Jane, Tim my moon sign is Gemini and you have just described my personality. I am totally in agreement with you. I seem to constantly bounce between what others call insanity and super intelligence. I must see both sides of the issue and I am always thinking. I often wonder if I'm not going insane. I sometimes do not know if I'm behind the pack (going insane) or so far ahead of the pack (my super quick witted intelligence) that I am actually their leader.

Accept the fact that no one but another Gemini can keep up with your quick silver mine and understand all the issue and twists that your mind sees and plots.

And thank you for your post. I thought I was the only one that didn't know if they are insane or super intelligent. I'm super intelligent and so are you. You ideas that seem so insane are really tge understanding of the issues that will take historians 100 years or more to understand. Hang in their Tim. Just hook one thumb over the rope and hang in there.

I was almost thrown out of my high school history class for presenting a talk on how WWII was about oil and that the war was started to allow the emerging big oil companies to dominate the politics of Europe, the Orient and the USA. I am a gardner and I did my makeup oral report (talk) about how the acidental importation of earth worms into the soil in Virginia changed the makeup of the soil and caused the destruction of the forests that were standing when the English arrived. The destruction of the forests allowed for the clearing of the dying trees and the cultivation of the cash crops needed to start the colonization of the Americas. My history teacher called me insane and gave me a D-. Just enough of a grade to graduate in 1963. I was shocked to read in National Georgraphic Magazine that some prominent scientists have decided that my "radical insane theory" was what happened to the original virgin oak treee forests in Virginia.

See Tim, you are not insane. You are just so intelligent that it will take 40 or more years for none Geminis to catch up with your intellect. Good luck living in this world of slow noncreative thinkers.

To Tim, the Gemini: I've known lots of Geminis and the ones who deal with this dilemma are often ones with other planets in creative signs, and that combined with the duality of Gemini are often prone to this issue. Just a viewpoint from an amateur Virgo astrologer. When creativity isn't channeled into a positive forum sometimes it can turn into a destructive tendency.
