Respect Equals Love: Venus in Capricorn

Maturity rules as love planet Venus moves into Capricorn

Venus, the planet of love, acceptance, pleasure and the arts, moved into serious Capricorn on January 23, 2016. Venus in Capricorn is an interesting combination of soft and hard. Sweet Venus likes things the easy way, but Saturn-ruled Capricorn is about focus, commitment and effort.

This is a time when love must be earned. Effort counts as much as heart, if you want to earn the approval of others. Relationships are built on shared goals and a willingness to work through the hard spots. Venus in Capricorn rewards maturity in relationships, helping to define problems and making a commitment to solve them.

This might not be the most romantic placement for Venus, but there are some real advantages here nevertheless. One is the ability to achieve creative or artistic goals even if you don't have the greatest natural talent. Capricorn rewards those who stick with the difficult tasks, rather than flashy folks who don't want to get their hands dirty with effort.

Venus in Capricorn means that respect equals love. We may have to work a little harder to be appreciated now, but we're building a solid foundation of self-respect that can ensure the continuation and growth of the relationships that count most in our lives.

A good number of young royalty have Venus in Capricorn, including Princesses Caroline and Stephanie of Monaco, England's Prince Andrew, King Juan Carlos of Spain and the late king of rock 'n' roll, Elvis Presley. Both Caroline and John F. Kennedy Jr. were also born with this combination.

Actors Anthony Hopkins, Jeff Bridges, Faye Dunaway, Diane Keaton and Danny Devito are Venus in Capricorn people, as were tragic comics Andy Kaufman and John Belushi and athletes Michael Jordan, Monica Seles and Lee Trevino. Venus in Capricorn is found in the charts of politicians Dick Gephardt and Dick Cheney, and singers Bonnie Raitt, Naomi Judd, Dolly Parton and Neal Diamond.

Tough times come and go, we deal with each passing. Capricorn is a true climber, we also don't fall down the other sides of the mountains, but rather we climb down, most times because of troubled weather, we can't stay on top all the time, tho we like to, so we turn around and climb back up the other sides. We don't stay down to long and life for us is not as a "roller coaster ride" as often described by most. It is hard to find the right paths up and down mountains, it can take longer for us, as we go around to go up and around to come back down. We could be closer to the top and just not know it, or standing on the side that is weaker, but we remain excellent at climbing either way. Watch out when we move think the mountains are moving! the greatness for us will be when the waters rise up to make our mountain smaller and have both our structures near. after all we are a goat with a fishes tail if we have to swim we will swim. A lifetime is short, for the Capricorn, that have been single for sometime now, its going to remain that way for a little longer, until we find that relationship we yearn for, but when we finally collide with our true equal it will be for a life time.

I do believe in sticking threw the rough times to but I am learning some times you need to know when to fold them in relationships . I am working on myself right now and building that solid foundation so when I do get into another serious relationship wont be on shaky ground and will be able to be comfortable in that relationship. But I truly think for a relationship to work for long term you have to be true friends before your a quote couple. I believe that that's what's wrong with people today that want to always rush into things and not let things flow on there own. Instant gratification always instant gratification. Get to know that person as friends and if it goes to lovers then allow it and see where it goes from there. Don't rush slow down after all we got a lifetime. Right
