You may feel a bit more vulnerable and sensitive about relationships early this month. Normally, you can find the optimism to look forward to happier days if things aren't going well. But February starts with Venus, the planet of love and self-worth, in super-sensitive Pisces and your 4th House of Roots.

Memories of the past can surge to the surface, making you nostalgic for what you no longer have or reminding you of previous personal wounds. It's understandable if you want to hide these feelings from others, but you may be even more attractive to your current partner or a potential new one when you reveal the softer side of yourself.

That will change when amorous Venus blasts into spontaneous Aries and your 5th House of Romance on February 7. You should find the old fire inside and express yourself with boldness and an appearance of self-assurance. Following your impulses may sometimes get you into hot water, but that's the kind of steamy stuff that excites you now. You need robust playmates who can take a little teasing and physicality for you to express yourself freely. Exploring new forms of creativity and play is also a good way to ignite your passion.

The Sun's shift into tender Pisces on February 18, though, is a reminder to explore both the soft and sassy parts of your personality. This may sound complicated, but it's a richer mix of emotions that makes you more authentic and appealing to others.
