You can move through two key stages of relationship this month. February begins with the love planet Venus in super-sweet and tender Pisces and your 7th House of Partners. This signals the need to be kind and forgiving to the one you love. If you're single, it's about dropping some of your rules and criticism (even of yourself) and letting gentler emotions guide your actions. This might not give you total clarity, but it can help you let go of the past to enjoy the pleasures of the present.

On February 7, Venus changes signs and alters the landscape of love. She fires into impulsive Aries, where being more direct and seeking new experiences is highlighted. Strangely, this transit occurs in your 8th House of Intimacy, suggesting that tossing caution to the wind is a key to drawing closer to someone.

It takes courage to bare your soul and a brave partner to expose his or her innermost secrets. In fact, you may feel more like fighting than flirting when defenses are down. Yet don't let minor matters allow you to push someone away if that's not what your heart desires. Intimacy requires courage, honesty and a willingness to take the intense heat of exposing your feelings. You may think that you're making mistakes if you spark a conflict, but a truly rewarding relationship will benefit by facing inconvenient truths. It's better to push and go a little too far with someone than to hold yourself back now.
