Loving outside the lines

An adventurous spirit opens hearts to new experiences this month. While this may cause restlessness in ongoing relationships, it can provide the motivation for others to seek farther and wider for love. Venus, the planet of amour, enters farseeing Sagittarius on Nov. 2 to initiate this pattern. Those who have partners will do well to step out of their usual routines to put more fire back into their unions. Attraction to people from different backgrounds is common with this transit, encouraging even the timid to socialize in unfamiliar territory.

Passionate Mars in bold Leo, though, opposes dreamy Neptune on Nov. 7, which can encourage some unrealistic behavior. Chasing illusions of love is fine if one is enjoying the game, but if there's interest in creating something that lasts, it's wise to think twice before doing anything foolish.

Sexuality and sensuality are strong around the Full Moon in earthy Taurus on Nov. 10. This lunar opposition to the Sun in Scorpio could raise issues of possessiveness or jealousy, but the lesson to be learned is that we can fulfill some desires if we're reasonable about them.

We have mixed messages in the later part of the month as the Sun shoots into outgoing Sagittarius on Nov. 22, which increases our longing for fresh experiences. However, Venus' move into practical Capricorn on Nov. 26 will put more practicality in partnerships for the following four weeks. Still, on that day she forms a stressful 90-degree square with volatile Uranus, which could produce risky behavior.
