Donald Won't Run For President, But He's Still Fired Up

Donald Trump roars like a Leo, but inside he's just a big softie

He’s rich. He’s powerful. He’s opinionated. He’s a Gemini with a Sagittarius Moon, and three key planets in roaring Leo. Today Donald Trump announced he will not run for president in 2012, saying in a statement that "business is my greatest passion and I am not ready to leave the private sector." Let's dig into the Astrology of Donald Trump and see what other passions get him fired up.

Born Donald John Trump at 9:51 a.m. on June 14, 1946 in Queens, New York, the real estate magnate’s birth chart reads like a road map to his love for the ladies, his business success and his need to be at the center of attention.

Here are the Top 5 cosmic clues to what makes “The Donald” tick:

Sun and Uranus in Gemini

Trump’s Sun in Gemini perfectly captures the spirit of the twins, with two distinct sides to his personality that few people see. His outward persona reflects the Donald we see on TV and in the news -- his quick wit, his changeable nature and opportunistic business dealings. But there is another, quieter side to this Gemini twin that has a gentle, welcoming warmth and quiet intellect. No, really. Plus, with Uranus also in Gemini, a spark of genius is thrown into the mix!

Moon in Sagittarius

You know how Trump is always trying new things? Starting up new businesses, building new empires, traveling around and having lots of adventures? Well, that’s all Trump’s tough Moon in Sagittarius. This transit makes Trump bold, fearless and perfectly willing to risk everything to succeed. You know, like risking looking foolish to the masses by demanding President Obama show his birth certificate.

Ascendant, Mars and Pluto in Leo

We’ve all heard the Donald roar “You’re Fired” like a lion, and this bold, brash confidence comes from the surge of Leo energy in his birth chart. His ascendant in Leo makes him friendly, outgoing and loud -- impossible for others not to notice. And his action planet Mars in Leo is downright sexy. (Er, that is if you can get past the hair). Mars in Leo is also an ego-driven placement, which is where The Donald gets his self-righteous streak and the fight to defend his principles. Hey, passion is passion, right? Pluto in Leo just ups the ante on his need for self-expression.

Mercury, Venus and Saturn in Cancer

Did you know The Donald has a sensitive side?! With his communication planet Mercury and love planet Venus in Cancer, don’t be surprised to learn Trump is a softie at heart whose family is very important to him. His communication style is sentimental, and he loves deeply -- but can get his feelings hurt easily. His Saturn in Cancer indicates he may have underlying fears about not being loved. Hmmm… Perhaps, then, the lion roars to mask his fear of getting hurt?

Jupiter and Neptune in Libra

Think Trump is ruthless? Think again. Trump’s lucky planet Jupiter is in the balanced sign of Libra, demonstrating his ability to profit most when playing fair. Charm plays a key role in his success, as partnerships with others boost his own status. This placement makes him a good diplomat who treats others equally, and also indicates a successful career in politics if he should seek it. Did someone say “Trump for President?!” Oh right, that was The Donald himself.

So what do you think? Is Donald Trump really a softie?!

Yes! While people may make fun of him and his hair(so what!) you have to admit he usually is RIGHT! He is a very smart man who keeps his real feelings hidden in a shell away from the public eye.I would vote for him if he ran for president of the U.S.
