High School Reunions by Sign

Get cosmic tips to be the envy of your graduating class

by Raven Bailey

It's time for that 10-year high school reunion (ok, or the 20th, 30th, 40th or 50th), and you're still waiting on a corner office. Should you just stay home, and hope you have more to show for yourself at the next reunion? No way! Regardless of your career level, there are certain traits associated with your horoscope sign that will make you shine with your former classmates. Read on to learn yours, and get ready to party down with pride.

Aries (March 21 - April 19)

Competitive Rams usually excel in their chosen fields quickly, so they will most likely arrive at the reunion with a fancy title and an impressive resume. If they haven't already achieved CEO-status, it's because they've fallen into the Aries trap of not finishing what they start. These folks can still wow their former classmates with their long list of what's in progress.

Taurus (April 20 - May 20)

Bulls like stability, so their post-education resume tends to be full of list items that aren't particularly exciting but that offer financial security. These folks also like their high-end creature comforts, so while their job title isn't likely to wow their former classmates, their designer duds, fancy vacations and luxurious spa trips will.

Gemini (May 21 - June 20)

This sign needs a great deal of intellectual stimulation, and as they don't often get as much of it as they'd like on the job, they tend to get bored and move on. If Gemini want to wow their former classmates, they won't do it with a lengthy list of brief job stints. They're more likely to impress by showing off their smarts with provocative debates about politics and current events.

Cancer (June 21 - July 22)

If there's one sign that's sure to make everyone else in the room feel bad about what they're doing, it's the Crab. These folks live to help people, and while they're not likely to be pulling in a six-figure paycheck, they'll both impress and inspire their former classmates with their heroic dedication to the less fortunate.

Leo (July 23 - Aug. 22)

Chances are, the Lion was the King or Queen of the high school jungle. Lucky for them, they tend to hold onto that title no matter what they end up doing as a career. Whether an actor or a doctor, these folks are high-profile all the way; the trick is to let their former classmates in on their fabulous lives without bragging too much.

Virgo (Aug. 23 - Sept. 22)

This detail-oriented and hard-working sign excels at whatever they do. As they'd rather focus on the details than the big picture, their careers tend to be more hands-on than those who strive for corner offices. Virgos can wow their former classmates by sharing all of the commendations and awards they've surely stacked up for a job well done.
