Great Grapes: Wine by Sign

Your cosmic grapevine to the best wines for every horoscope sign

Libra (Sept 23 - Oct 22)

Willamette Valley Vineyards Chardonnay: Party Foul? I think not. Libras will make sure that no matter what they drink, it will not offend nor instigate controversy of any kind. Seeking a flavor they can sip on all night as they float from topic to topic is key for our Libra wine lover. It’s not to say that Libras don’t enjoy unique or extreme flavors, in fact they love trying new things. But often in their quest to taste and see every side of things they lose the desire to have their own distinct preference. This Oregon Chardonnay is perfect for our Libra friends, as it lets them have a tasty and popular style of wine to call their own. It’s non-offensive. Not too oaky, not too fruity. Just right and will taste good all night!

Scorpio (Oct 23 - Nov 21)

Francis Coppola: Claret Cabernet Sauvignon The most intimidating of all Zodiac Signs, it seemed only fitting to pair it with a Cabernet Sauvignon from the Francis Coppola vineyard. Scorpios get a bad rap for being the “stinger” of the signs. With their deadly tail and less than cuddly appearance, Scorpios are often written off as intense or unapproachable. But you need only get to know one or two Scorpios to see that they are often one of the most passionate and loyal signs of the Zodiac. Their feelings are so strong they run a bit too intense at time. Hence, this Coppola Claret. Claret is a term that was originally coined by the British to describe Cabernet Sauvignon-based wines such as Bordeaux, or those made in a similar style. This intense blend combines over 5 different slight variants into a single family. Nothing is more important to a Scorpio than “the family”. Salute!

Sagittarius (Nov 22 - Dec 21)

Momokawa Pearl Junmai Ginjo Nigori Genshu Saké: As one of the most adventurous horoscope signs, Sagittarius will sure to keep you guessing. But for this tasting, we decided on the international taste of Saké. The impulsive and humorous Sagittarian loves the idea of sampling beverages from all over the world. Especially if it means it might stir up a little controversy along the way. As quickly as the Sagittarius slips in to stir up the pot, they slip out again without a hint of their next move. This particular Momokawa Saké is flavored with hints of tropical aromas from banana to coconut -- just a small amount will get definitely please the travel yearning Sagittarius.

Capricorn (Dec 22 - Jan 19)

Table Red, Red, Wine: For this earth sign, it’s about getting the job done. And this Red, Red, Wine is the perfect functional wine for the practical Capricorn. Full fruit flavor with a carefully calculated amount of acidity is sure to garner the respect of the industrious Capricorn. Real Capricorns are too busy for adventures with fruity wines, or rich heavy flavors. It’s all about practical and efficient. Like our loveable Capricorns, this is an unpretentious wine that will go good with pasta, BBQ and even pizza. So lighten up and enjoy a glass with a Capricorn.

Aquarius (Jan 20 - Feb 18)

Le Signal Red Table Wine: The most “original” horoscope sign loves to create beauty in the most unique ways. Whether it’s expressing their uniqueness through art, or taking a more progressive stance through political protests the Aquarian is on a mission -- innovate and create! This particular wine is perfect for our non-conformist water bearer. Why? Well, on the surface it’s a simple red table wine, but wait . . . there’s a creative twist! This red wine is a blend of Carignan, Grenache, Syrah and Mourdedre. A completely unique and original way to create a flavorful red wine. It’s simplistic label shows the silhouette of the original wine delivery truck that is now a rusted one-of-a-kind art-piece welcoming you into the vineyard estate. Perfectly quirky!

Pisces (Feb 19 - March 20)

Alexander Valley Sin Zin Zinfandel: Did you know you can often tell a Pisces just by looking at their eyes? One of the only horoscope signs to have an outward physical attribute, a Pisces’ eyes are often described as “dreamy.” Deep rich colors, unique shape and an often intangible twinkle make a Pisces’ easy to spot. That is why we chose this Alexander Valley Sin Zin -- you can‘t help but be drawn to its dream-esque label but when you taste it you realize you’re getting a much deeper and rewarding flavor. Nurturing, sweet, and relentlessly optimistic, Pisces’ keep our world filled with ideas, dreams and compassion. Filled with fruit and rich flavors, this wine gets you feeling as if anything is possible. Just like a true Pisces, this Zin puts a hopeful smile on your face and tastes fresh and pleasing.

I might say - It depends on - Your Rising sign! Very well if You are Pisces Rising, but if You are Scorpio Rising then you will use your special Scorpio "smokescreen" so that other would NOT see what EYES
You have or reveal Your self to others. As a Scorpio Rising You have the possibility NOT to reveal what
You are threw a "smokescreen" and shrewdness and secretive private life! As adult i have been more and more aware of this facts and used them occasionally in difficult or personally unpleasant situations! It works! But DO NOT STAND there as a "fish on land" with Your mouth wide open!
Shut Your mouth, or talk slow with nearly closed mouth and Your eyes only half open and look straight right into Your opponents eyes! Show NO FEAR! THEY SHALL FEAR YOU! AlWAYS!
